Acceptable Use Policy

Activities, businesses, and behaviors that are restricted or prohibited on Pleep.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets rules for using Pleep’s wallets, payments, cards, stablecoin and crypto features, and AI/messaging experiences. It forms part of your agreement with Pleep together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Pleep may refuse, reverse, freeze, or report activity that violates this AUP, applicable law, partner rules, or our risk policies.
2. General Prohibitions
You may not use the Services to:
- Violate any law, regulation, sanctions regime, or court order
- Engage in fraud, identity theft, phishing, social engineering, or unauthorized account access
- Launder money, finance terrorism, evade taxes unlawfully, or conceal the true nature of funds
- Interfere with platform security, attempt to bypass controls, or abuse APIs and rate limits
- Misrepresent your identity, business, source of funds, or transaction purpose
- Share account access in a way that undermines authentication or creates uncontrolled risk
3. Restricted Lines of Business
Pleep does not service transactions related to certain high-risk or prohibited categories, including but not limited to:
- Illegal activities (including narcotics trafficking, human trafficking, exploitation, and other criminal enterprises)
- Unlicensed gambling, betting, or lottery services where prohibited
- Unlicensed currency exchange, crypto, or FX businesses operating outside applicable rules
- “Get rich quick,” pyramid, or deceptive investment schemes
- Counterfeit goods, stolen property, or intellectual property infringement at scale
- Unauthorized resale of event tickets or regulated inventory
- Firearms, weapons, explosives, and related dual-use goods where restricted
- Adult content and sexually explicit services where prohibited by partners or law
- Businesses designed to evade sanctions, export controls, or financial crime controls
Additional review
Some categories may be permitted only with enhanced due diligence, licensing evidence, and partner approval. Pleep may update restricted categories as regulations and partner policies evolve.
4. Sanctions and Restricted Countries
You may not use Pleep if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, or acting on behalf of a person or entity in a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction, or if you are a sanctioned person or entity.
We screen users and transactions against sanctions and watchlists. Activity involving restricted jurisdictions or sanctioned parties is prohibited and may be blocked or reported.
5. Virtual Card Abuse
Virtual cards must be used only for lawful, personal or authorized business spend consistent with issuer and network rules. Prohibited card activity includes testing stolen credentials, carding, triangulation fraud, cash-like misuse where banned, and funding prohibited merchants or categories.
6. Crypto and Stablecoin Abuse
You may not use crypto or stablecoin features to obfuscate illicit proceeds, interact knowingly with mixer/tumbler services used for crime, exploit unsupported networks to cause loss, or engage in market manipulation or wash activity intended to deceive.
Depositing unsupported assets or using incorrect networks may result in permanent loss. You are responsible for confirming asset and network compatibility before sending funds.
7. AI and WhatsApp Payment Abuse
You must not attempt to socially engineer the AI assistant, submit instructions from shared or compromised messaging accounts, automate abusive message floods, or use conversational channels to process transactions for third parties in violation of KYC or this AUP.
Confirmations you approve through messaging channels are treated as authorized instructions from you.
8. Your Compliance Obligations
You agree to cooperate with KYC/AML reviews, provide accurate source-of-funds information when requested, and refrain from structuring transactions to avoid monitoring thresholds. Suspicious activity may be escalated to partners or authorities as required.
9. Enforcement and Account Termination
Violations may result in declined transactions, feature limits, temporary holds, permanent account closure, recovery of losses, and referral to law enforcement or regulators. Pleep may preserve and share relevant information as permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.
10. Updates
We may update this AUP to reflect legal, partner, or risk-policy changes. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
